Description
The Celtic Knot Cardigan is a seamless yoke sweater that is knit in the round from the bottom up—the sleeves and body are joined at the underarm. Five sets of short rows give the yoke a flattering fit. This sweater’s classic shape makes it a go-to choice for all seasons.
Eight colors of Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift fingering-weight yarn are used in this sweater. The Celtic motifs were taken from Charted Celtic Designs by Co Spinhoven. The garter button and neck bands are knit onto the sweater.
Instructions for steeking and for spacing the buttonholes are included in the pattern.
The patterns offers 6 sizes, from 33” to 53” finished circumference. You can choose to make a size that fits closely or that offers lots of room—the design works either way!
