I’m so excited to return to Scotland and Shetland in 2025 with hand spinner Jillian Moreno! I took a break for a few years to take tours to other places—Iceland, Ireland, and the north of England—but I couldn’t stay away from this magical place any longer!
Jillian and I have put together an exciting two-week-long itinerary: Several days in Edinburgh to start and end the trip; four days in Shetland; a scenic drive to Skye, where we spend 3 nights; and another scenic leisurely drive to Edinburgh! We’ve arranged classes with Di Gilpin, Elizabeth Johnston, Janette Budge, and TJ Frog, along with visits to farms, yarn shops, mills, and studios. Plus excellent food and very nice accommodations!
We offer shared and single rooming options; due to the high cost of lodging on Skye, we are also offering a Flexible Single option, with shared room on Skye only. Check with Jean at Celtic Journeys for more information (her contact information is on the itinerary).
